Arts @ Addingham is a new group that brings together the arts community within Addingham, a small but creative village in the Yorkshire Dales (map). All those in the village interested in the visual arts, music, literature, history, archaeology, and nature, whether professional or amateur, are welcome. The objectives are to help each other be more creative, to provide opportunities for exhibition and performance and to encourage the whole village community to take part.
An inaugural Festival Weekend on the 10th and 11th October is being planned, but obviously this is a bit up in the air at the moment!
For more information, check out the sections below or see our contact details at the bottom of the page.
We're obviously waiting to see how things go with the current COVID-19 situation before releasing festival details. Check back as-and-when things return to some degree of normality.
The village Environment Day in the Spring has been cancelled. Details of other events will be available when things are vaguely normal again.
There's a number of longer term projects also running...
We're keen to involve as many people as possible, either providing space for local artists, writers, and performers, or hearing from people who would like to be involved in, or start, projects: so please do drop us a line. Equally, if you're interested in some of the above, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
If you're interested in being involved, or would like further information, do drop us an email at:
Regards, the steering group:
